Bollywood’s famous couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently made a public appearance at the Indian Sports Honours Awards in Mumbai, which marked their first public outing together since Deepika’s appearance at the Oscars. Deepika looked stunning in a classic black saree with a golden border and a sleek bun, while Ranveer was dressed in a white shirt and black blazer, looking dapper as always. The couple was photographed with Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone, on the red carpet.
However, some fans grew concerned after a video of the couple from the event surfaced online, showing that Deepika didn’t hold Ranveer’s hand, and they didn’t pose together on the red carpet. Netizens flooded the comments section, with some pointing out that their body language seemed off, and that Deepika wasn’t even looking at Ranveer. However, loyal DeepVeer fans came to their rescue, stating that the couple is the most genuine and generous, and that they can’t please everyone.
Deepika and Ranveer first starred together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela” and were then seen together in two more SLB films, “Bajirao Mastani” and “Padmaavat”. The couple tied the knot in 2018 and has been setting relationship goals for their fans ever since. Deepika recently presented at the Oscars and introduced the song “Naatu Naatu” from the film “RRR,” which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in “Pathaan” with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, and will soon be seen in “Project K” with Prabhas and “Fighter” with Hrithik Roshan. She also has a cameo in SRK’s “Jawan.” Ranveer, on the other hand, was last seen in “Cirkus” and will next be seen in “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” with Alia Bhatt.
