This mouse was sold at an auction. This mouse and coding key set were designed by computing legend Douglas Engelbart. It was created 55 years ago today. This rare three-button mouse used two metal discs to track the cursor position, later replaced by a ball or optical light. Its coding key set uses five keys, allowing 31 key press combinations to type commands.
